CROSS-COUNTRY HANDICAP LEAGUE TABLE (2008/9)
With the last KFL event taking place at
Knole Park, Sevenoaks on Sunday, 1st February (which was also
the 2nd Grand Prix of the year), the final Handicap League
Table for the 2008/9 cross-country season can be revealed. Everyone who
competed in at least 5 of the 7 KFL fixtures is shown in the table
below.
For the ladies, Julie Unitt had a
storming run and just pipped Gill Grant by just 10 seconds on handicap
to take the ladies prize. Similarly, Nick Curtis put in another good
run to steal the overall lead from Nigel Kent, who could not make it on
the day. The Handicap Competition has again proved to have a thrilling
conclusion with the final positions being decided with the last race.
